What's it like to be a Veterinarian? What does it take to become one? Your student can follow Dr. Dukwon Yoon through exam and treatment rooms and experience first hand a day in the life of a veterinary doctor. If desired, your student can witness a surgical procedure with Dr. Yoon! Dr. Dukwon Yoon is a licensed California veterinarian with over 20 years of practice and research experience. He was trained and graduated from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University and Seoul National University. Prior to attending Tufts, he worked at Harvard Medical School as a research associate in the Molecular Biology department. He started his vet practice in 1998, ran his own hospital in Dublin beginning in 2001, and in 2018 he established a new hospital in Hayward, treating all types of critter patients in the East Bay.
